    When you buy your OTC tags, it automatically adds the Hab Stamp. So it appears to be a requirment. When you NR OTC what's another $10.00 after dropping $695.00

    I am heading out Sept 6th, heading to Denver. Still haven't nailed down my units, was in West Elk 2 years ago...it was a zoo of horses and trailers. Most likely will run N of the 70 corridor like the other 3MM hunters.

    I have never used a packer and wondering what yall would recommend for lining one up just in case a elk cooperates. - Find a local outfitter and slip em a couple Ben Franklin just to be available for a call? - Donate some cash to anyone who happens to have horses in the area?

    Colorado OTC - Shooter?

    When I moved to IL and started bowhunting I told myself I wont shoot a doe or small buck as my first deer. Passed on lots of does and raghorns...5 years later I shot a nice buck... I would shoot that elk without hesitating, tag soup was awful for those 5 years.

    Asking questions about a unit that you haven't been to before is like telling someone you haven't felt TITS before and want to know how they feel....every unit is different and you have to go there to find out. got my butt kicked 2 years ago in the West Elk, but heading back this year.
