I really like the Tamron 28-200 I got from Cameraland. It’s on a Sony A7R4 and works great. Nice and sharp, fairly compact, light, good autofocus at a reasonable price compared to GM glass.
It technically says “Crossbow” but I’m not sure there is a substantial difference between an “archery” setting and a crossbow setting if the arrow weight and speed are identical.
Edit: this is for the Kilo3000BDX rangefinder binos
I’m trying to decide between the 7x and the 7. I have a smaller Casio pro-trek now so either is going to feel big comparably. Like the longer battery on the 7x…
I have the lightweight shirt in brown and grey, it a nice hot weather piece. One of my favorite pieces of kit though is their face mask. It's made of the same light material but with the open bottom on the part that covers your face means your hot breath goes out the bottom instead of fogging...
Given that I’m sitting in camp 2 miles south of S@T and haven’t seen jack besides some crusty trails and well-dried bear scat I could use a tip or three
I finally got one night in my Xmid 2P solid. Temp was a low of 39* and was surprised at the lack of condensation on the inner layer. A LOT of condensation on the outer layer though so I had to be sure to let everything dry out when I got back home as I had to pack up wet.
Really quick setup...
What ammo are you using? I built a 6.5GR a few years ago to replace a 7.62x39 AR when they banned lead ammo but then couldn’t find lead-free 6.5GR ammo. I assume you are reloading? Ended up building a “light” AR10 in 6.5CR since I don’t reload.
