I bought a used one off here for my son. Thinking about pairing it with a gen 1 nomad and a lid. Seems like a pretty simple set up that could do about anything. Thoughts?
I used an icon pro 3200 for an early season Colorado archery hunt and thought it was great. Trained with 50 lbs of sand before the trip with no issues. I'm 5'-7" and used the reg frame height (22") and had plenty of lift to relieve my shoulders. I should have used a 5200 sized bag for the hike...
Hey thanks for the reply. Yes I'm pretty sure you're correct about not being able to attach pockets directly to the net but I can still use a guide lid right? I was thinking pockets on my hip belt for small stuff. Anyone have some pictures of this set up? Thanks
Hey guys I'm interested in seeing/hearing how you guys use the cargo net for both daypack mode and 7+ day hunts. I was thinking 2 small belt pockets and a guide lid for the majority of my hunts here in the east and then add a xl roll top dry bag if I head West. Anyone use a similar set up? Thanks
Same here, it's been a year already! I used an icon pro 3200 for a 9 day early season Colorado hunt this yr and thought it was great other than the pack in. I should have used a 5200 for the pack in but after that it was perfect. Full disclosure though, I'm not a good enough hunter so I didn't...
I've only been on one Backcountry hunt so no expert. I used a kuiu icon pro 3200 and it was great but too small for the pack in and out. I looked like a hobo hiking up the mountain. Get a 5200 or even a 7200, they cinch down very well.
