I've had a couple pairs of the Lems Boulder boots and their Nine2Fives - just wore them for work though, not out in the wilds. The Summits look a little more substantial.
I had the Roclites when they first came out but they were just too susceptible to cactus strikes - my Topos have more stack...
I'm going to plug the Xero Ridgeway. They are surprisingly robust for a company that started at the very minimal of minimal. I have rucked oodles of trail miles on them with 40-65lb packs. They are my go to trail ruckwear. My only con would be they seem to lack good grip off trail, sidehill...
An FYI:
I decided to try one and the K4 hip belt slides right in and Velcros in the existing OE space like it was made for it. If you are happy with the OE lumbar pad and just want the belt, it works fine, no mods.
I presume since you did it the way you did because the K4 belt alone, without the lumbar pad, is too big to just slide thru and mount the same way as the OEM belt? Presuming that's the case, do you think a person could just trim down/cut/re-sew the mid portion of the K4 belt to slide thru?
Is...
To each their own of course but deadheading out to the truck and back seems like unecessary extra work to me. I'm taking my pack. ;)
It doesn't get alot of love here but I sure like the simplicity of my F1 mainframe and the variety of configurations I can use with it. It for sure sees way...
I did a budget rebuild of a Parker Hale/Mauser 98 25-06 couple years ago. I put it in a Pro Mag Archangel stock and I have been very happy with it - I think it cost like $150 and makes an obnoxious rattling sound of the adjustable cheek piece. PacNor 24" barrel with 1:8 twist, Timney trigger...
I felt the Stocky's NextGen VG2 was both an ergonomic and performance upgrade on my 6.5-300Wby Vanguard over the factory stock. I felt it was worth the money. YMMV. ;)
🤣. I had to investigate that also...I was thinking some sort of Medieval spear. Appears to be using the name of your bullet in a slang verb form...glad I switched to Hammer bullets if this becomes the norm...would feel a little silly if I had to post I eld-x'd something!
Congrats to OP on...
You think hunting forums get heated with trivial shiz...go onto a Photography forum and search:
1) What is a photograph?
2) When is a photograph not a photograph?
3) The ethics of photographing a bull elk with a focal length of 65mm vs 300mm...
...and so on... 🍿

I've got their holster and their kydex bear spray holster. Really like 'em...haven't had to defend my life with either of them yet but I'm confident should the need arise I will be able to quickly deploy and either shoot myself in the...
Complete in box including new plate for phone. Used one season worked awesome. My scope fell, broke in half, Vortex gave me new one that uses the larger S1.

Great captures and content in these photos for sure as well as awesome adventures!! Totally envious!! (y)
No dog in the fight for sure. From an admitted photog nerd perspective I think viewing web photos on a computer monitor is really revealing as far as photo quality (i.e. can I make a...
I like the Gunfighter Inc kydex holster molle'd on my...bino harness. But would work on pack also. I feel like the canister pulls out of the kydex better than the cloth types I've tried. Never had to do it fo' reals though thankfully. 🤞
Ditto! I absolutely cook in 'em. I wore my Kings Camo Ridges for most of my sheep hunt. They were light and cool, felt appropriate...but I decided they were bad luck. Threw on the Attacks (they've got like a sheep head on em for cripes sakes!!) and got a ram that day...about self combusted...
Yah, I am out that way quite a bit doing...stuff. Few days ago in a 6.2 mile loop I accumulated 800ft+ elevation gain just going up and down a gazillion little ups and downs. Not a killer by any means but...it ain't flat. It's kind of a crazy place...you think you can see everything for...
