lots of good experiences with different broadheads. I’m after the reliability of flying true assuming i did my part and then holding together once i hit bone, etc. Just seems to me iron will has as many negatives as positives from arrow flight? Not trying to knock it but rather make sure if...
So I’m thinking about upgrading broadheads to iron will 100 gr. I still struggle with the price since they are 2 to 3 times other well reviewed cut on impact heads. Looking for experiences from those who have tried numerous broadheads why did you settle on the one you use today.
I’ve been...
As opposed to what?? The problem with this world is the internet and cell phones not peoples opinions that they never expressed. Pretty easy to sit behind a computer, phone, ipad etc and tell people how to live or what is wrong. if I’m wrong read what I’m saying. Life was much better 30...
You driving all the way across the US? i can drive a long damn ways on $1000. I’m not trying to be a dick but if you can’t afford the extra $200 in gas over last year you probably shouldn’t be going to start with but u do you and don’t bitch about it.
yes i know I’m goin to get some kick...
I used Voodoo Fishing Charters back in Aug, they. Did a good job and put us on fish for both inshore and off shore. There are located in Venice but who knows if its still there since the storm. We didn’t troll during out off shore, fished the rigs only.
Hate to tell you this but I had Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 2 different F250s and neither set lasted 30k. Went back to the Tokyo open county at3, been getting 40 to 45k out of them..
So 7 of us are putting in for Elk tags this year. Was wondering if we are better off to put in as 1 large group or would our odds of drawing be better with 2 groups with less people drawing?
Just got to CO myself, gonna start hunting Sunday. From what I’m hearing elk aren’t talking much if any right now. Hopefully the warmer weather this week will pick things up a bit.
In a previous post you mentioned that you don’t go out or on guided hunts because you can;t afford it, that sir would mean you received a stimulus check. I know this because I didn’t receive one so I know what can and can;t be afforded.
Bet you also demand way more than other customers they have and most likely aren’t very well liked. Some professions make their living on tips. If you cant afford to tip appropriatley when it’s warranted you shouldn’t be there to start with.
I understand not tipping all professions but some...
Lots of good info here and gives me a starting point. This hunt is 10K which makes a starting point of $1000 tip for the guide on a 5 day hunt. Most guys are saying $100 a day is a good starting point which would be $500 tip for the week and then adjust from there.
nothing easy about tipping...
Understand most folks here are self guided but I’m headed on a CO guided elk hunt and have no idea what I should tip the guide? Do you tip by % of the hunt cost?
Seems to me that 20% which seems to be the standard for a dinner would be a little outrageous no matter how good of a job they did...
I’m by far not the most intelligent guy or gal here but if it were me and I could pay off my house in 6 years with less than 3% interest and no additional principal payments I’d be investing 75% of the 100K in the stock market. and then put the remaining 25K in savings for an oh crap situation...
Thank you, my point exactly. She is perfectly content reading a book and working on the computer if needed. All i was asking was for some info that she may not find on the internet such as wineries or must sees that aren’t well known.
as for the rest who say send her on a vaca of her own...
