i don’t know where you are located but there is most likely a Carpenter’s Union local somewhere near bye and they are part of a great program for veterans called “helmets to hard hats “. The program gets them into the local union and working on job sites pretty quickly. There are a lot of...

If you have stairs that you can walk with your pack even basement stairs 10-12 sets a few times a week will make a difference. And doing lunges, and air squats will really get you ready

As an Ohio resident I think you would be hard pressed to beat the walleye and perch fishing on Lake Erie in late September/early October and truly amazing bow hunting within 45min of the lake
I went with a western mountaineering bag after trying to use some “budget” bags ( mil surplus, and Cabela’s) I have no regrets about it but I wish I would of looked in the classifieds for lightly used ones and saved myself quite a bit of money. Seems people buy them for one hunt and practically...
To me, him giving so much “advice” was the worse for new or would be hunters. A lot of guys watch those videos preparing for there first western hunt I know I did and to tell people that 3lbs here and 3lbs there doesn’t matter infuriates me! I realize the price of some of that gear will keep...
for the money its tough to beat the accuracy of an H&R single shot in .223 or .243
they can be bought for sub $250 and are tack drivers. Only downside is that they are single shot
