Tethered scope turret cap

I’m not sure if I am going to keep this on my scope, but I was looking for a solution that would keep me from loosing my turret cap if I decided to dial elevation in the field. I mostly set it and forget it. I used some of my halibut leader materials to make a tether for my turret cap. I can still spin the cap off. This will hopefully help me keep track of it. Just hope it doesn’t snag every piece of brush.

Awesome idea what did you use to clamp the fishing line?

Double barrel connectors for terminating heavy gauge fishing lines. I just squeezed them with a set of electricians crimpers.
