    Organizing Your Pack

So does your food and cloths etc just lay around loose in your tent? My bag stays attached to my pack frame. I don't want my cloths just laying on the ground in my tent. I need a bag to hang my food up in. Leave your food on the ground in your tent where I hunt and critters will get into it.

    Kifaru Duplex Frame vs Bikini

I used both the Duplex and Bikini. My preference was the Bikini. I felt it was more comfortable and handled heavy weight just as well as the Duplex. The Timberline 2 will compress down plenty for day hunts.

Backpack capacity for 5 day elk hunt?

3500 should work. Don't pack to much extra clothing. You can wash them in a creek. Take plenty of food. Pack everything in your pack. If it doesnt fit figure out what to not take. Get a waterproof stuff sack for your sleeping bag, pack it and your sleeping pad outside the pack if you need more...

    Pack Ideas

You really can't go wrong with seek outside, kifaru, stone glacier or exo, maybe even the new mystery ranch frame. All are high quality and have enough frame height to have functioning load lifters. I really think the only reason one would be better than the other is because of specific options...

    Elk Hunting backpack

How often are you really getting into your pack to have to worry about the few seconds it takes to undo a couple buckles? I get in mine a couple times a day. No hassles at all. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

    Seek outside Revolution frame

I am looking for some real world reviews from average Joe's on this pack frame. How bulky does it feel when using as a day pack elk hunting? How do you like the lack of a lumbar pad? How easy is it to put the frame extensions on in the field? Does it have multiple attachment points? Sent from...

How do you run redundancy in your pack set up

My pack almost never comes off. If it is off it only takes a few seconds to put it on and go. I wan't everything with me at all times. Never know how far a way you will be.
