Like new carter evolution. Probably shot less than 100 times. Comes with the original pkg, springs, wrenches. I’m selling it because with what little shooting I do, I don’t think that I’ll get used to this style of release. $150 TYD. PayPal preferred

I put superfeet in my Nevada's and they worked great. I agree, for the price, they should include a decent pair of insoles and a lace lock that actually works.
It's not gonna make a huge difference either way. I've shot both with equal accuracy. I prefer helical because it just looks cool. Make sure your bow is tuned, fletch up those shafts, and let em fly. John Dudley has some good arrow building vids that are worth watching too.
I'm interested in heavy arrows and their performance. What animals have you taken with this set up & how did the arrow perform? Did you hit bone, and if so, did the arrow punch through with no problems? Thanks
I haven't tried the Tatra, but I recently bought Hanwag Brenner GTX. They're true to size and comfortable. They're not a super stiff boot, but have good ankle support. I bought them for Colorado elk 2020. Camofire recently had em for $220. I can't provide any info compared to Kenetrek, but my...
I called Carter. The tech said to lube the safety and jaw. I did that and it took care of it. It's working properly now. I'm a little disapointed that I had to do that, but all's good now. Thanks for everyone's input
But when I hook it up to the simulator, I don't press the safety, I just hook up, bring the release back to my anchor point, start pulling, and it goes off just fine (safety is never depressed). When I hook up to my actual d loop, depress the safety, go to full draw, let off the safety and pull...
Got a new evolution today. Watched vids on how to use it. Didn't change any factory settings at first. I tried it on a simulator (boot lace) and it fired. I hooked it up to my d loop, depressed the safety, came to full draw, released the safety and started pulling. I pulled, pulled, pulled...
Good luck on your hunt. My son and I are planning our first elk hunt in Sept. 2020. Trying to decide between Colorado or Idaho. Let me know how it goes. Take care.
Bleachers at the high school with a 45-50lb backpack. Worked up to 30 minutes of continuous so far at a steady pace. I found that a couple bags of rubber mulch fill the back pack up real nice.
Does everyone bring rain pants during Sept archery elk, or do you just bring a rain jacket. As a first timer, it seems that just a jacket would be sufficient as we don't plan on hunting when it's raining. Figured we'd pop up a tarp quick and let it pass instead of gearing up with rain...
