For travelling and in the field, I find that the combination of an Aeropress and MbK's Aergrind or Aerspeed manual grinder, which fits inside, is pretty unbeatable.
These give excellent grind quality while running quick and smooth; it's a whole different world compared to the slow wobbly...

The GB1 is a heck of a knife in my opinion. That plus the GB2 and Bombshell have completely changed my opinion on liner locks; a high-quality example is pretty much unbeatable in actual use...
I just replaced Sportsmatch HTO73s with the Spuhr hunting model. The fit is perfect with a 56 mm scope, and despite the super-solid one-piece construction, it’s only 28 grams heavier.

Yes — while lots more dogs go missing everywhere, and can often be traced to their tracks intersecting with the motor vehicles out on the roadways. Drivers and dogs don’t mix well, either.
