Ski erg

Been debating on adding this to the garage gym. I have concept2 row, assault bike.

Pros/cons is it worth it ?

From a specificity standpoint for the purposes of being in shape for hunting, you don't have very much to gain from the ski erg unless you are a cross country skier. That being said, since you already have a rower and an assault bike, it would be a fun/entertaining addition. If you have the space and the budget, I think you could definitely spend more time getting your garage conditioning in with more options for variation, but that's about the end of the direct benefits. Its not even very effective training for (uphill) skinning and I don't think you'll find anyone (who isn't a kook) who is going to swear that the ski erg "got them up the mountain"

If you have room and want the variety why not. If it was me I would spend money elsewhere. After 5 years of CrossFit I never did see the need for them, it always seemed the people using it had ankle issues and couldn’t jump rope.
