I’m not a fan of the javelins, I bought them twice and moved on both times. I really hate the design of the magnet piece that stays attached to your barrel. I had one slip and damage the factory insert in a rifle, I also had them destroy range bags and the shoulder of a jacket.

On top of that, I never found those bipods that stable anyways. For me, they just didn’t work well and had a lot of downsides. Neat design though and installing the flush mount adaptor to a rifle would solve the first part of my problem.

I think the detachable Spartan system is great.

Weighs next to nothing (under 150 g for the Javelin Lite), gives a nice controlled bit of flex for preloading, and has the right amount of free travel straight backwards for accuracy. It’s a perfect lightweight hunting bipod in my opinion.

@scattergun , what adjustable cheek riser is that ? Add on?, part of factory stock? Padded? Also, that’s an awesome view & range!

Thanks, it's a nice place to play with the toys for sure.

The stock is a factory Tikka Supervarmint on a T3X Lite; it has the exact same riser as the T3X Adjustable, but the rest of the stock is done in a grippy green finish, plus it has a few extra threaded holes on the forend and a wider adjustment knob. Works great!
