The last few years of updates from Microsoft broke me of Windows. I think it's excessive to regularly be required to restore just to get an update to work. Lack of updates broke me from Google Nexus. Inconsistent hardware broke me of Samsung and Notes.
I'm now iPad, Mac Air, and iPhone for...
Anything can break. I'd consider starting over even if you buy Tikka again. You can probably get a decent trade for it.
I think the biggest problem with test drops is you don't know if you caused damage unless it's obvious.
There is much better tablet support on iPad. The updates are better, and the hardware is better.
Fwiw, all Google apps are also on iPad. I suggest going to somewhere like Best Buy or similar and look at all of them. Also, watch some YouTube where they are compared.
A few questions.
1. How long do you plan to be at either company?
2. Do you like the current company and management and do they like you?
3. Do you have any experience as management .... some people aren't very good at it and some don't like it?
The way it could affect someone is for more people to start hunting with multiple weapons because inlines are more available. That could lead to more harvest and less opportunity for the other weapon types. That's especially true if you don't have to choose "one" weapon for the year.
Also, if...
Check to see what is legal for your muzzleloader seasons before buying one.
I found this pretty interesting on performance. Sure, it's just one viewpoint from one manufacturer..
There are already firearm restrictions like caliber in some states. There are also restrictions for lighted optics and weight limits in some jurisdictions as well as straight wall caliber restrictions and gun type restrictions.
Of course, there have also been magazine capacity limits for...
I generally drink espresso. I have ground beans and used a pressure espresso maker for years. Over the years, I stopped drinking milk which meant frothing milk was no longer required.
I've switched to a Nespresso original pod coffee maker to make my shots and occasional lungo. It's tiny and...
No, it's why have weapon specific seasons at all if the reason for the season no longer exists.
Btw, I'm ok with having a "deer or elk" season since I haven't bow hunted in forever even though that's all I used to do. But my guess is most bow hunters and traditional muzzleloader hunters...
Timid isn't the right word. We can argue if these special seasons should exist or not. They probably exist in most states because they exist harvest to be relatively low, and there is some tradition involved. A lot of people don't want to be out during regular firearm season.
For bows, it...
The comparisons I've seen on Gel Blocks show the penetration is basically identical from the same manufacturer with the same load in both 6.5 CM and .308. One test compared 6.5 CM and 300 Mag and got the similar results.
Obviously, 30 cal will be a bigger hole and heavier bullets generally...
