    Can't speak to the Sitka back fortys, but the Prana Zion's are probably too light for winter wear. I swear by Kuhl. <--- check em out. I love the Free Ryder and Free Generatrs. Just the right amount of stretch and super functional.

    3 mile 45lb weighted pack hike with at least 3 hills. 4x per week. Exercise according to what you are going to be doing. And like many said, eat as clean as you can...aka everything in moderation.
