    I have one on my Christensen Arms 7PRC. It is well made. I looked at a lot of different ones and decided on the T&K. I have found that for my personal use I really don't use the cover.

    Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT 7mm PRC. MOA with Federal 175 ELD-X. Even better with a couple different reloads. 175 gr. Berger Elite Hunter and Nosler 160 Accubond.

    Guess its worth a try since you may be able to draw deer to a food plot. Its the possible pressure being surrounded by public land that may be your downfall.

    Had excellent results with a 160 Nosler AB & H4831 well under MOA and Chrono average of 2990. Both 175 ELD-X and Berger 175 Elite Hunter have also been good with H1000.

    28 Nosler ammo may not be cheap but many calibers aren't nowadays. As for availability Ammoseek has over 500 vendors selling 28 Nosler ammo. Prices start around $40 and go to Over $80.

    The 280 AI is a great caliber but falls closely to the 7PRC and 7mag. The 28 Nosler is for sure a step above. I have a 7PRC and a 7mag and a 28 Nosler is on my Christmas list. You can't go wrong with either caliber and collecting guns is never a bad thing.

    First time for Montana

    For me Montana has been the most difficult state to draw a tag. Applied for Big Game Combo the last 8 years and have drawn twice. Have had much better luck in Wyoming drawing deer tags. And Colorado drawing Elk and deer tags. lf I decide to hunt New Mexico I purchase a landowner voucher.

    Reloading 300 wm

    With H1000, magnum primers and just about any 180 gr. bullet my Tikka 300 WM is one of the easiest calibers I reload for in terms of getting excellent accuracy.

    A Limbsaver recoil pad goes a long way in mitigating felt recoil over most stock pads. Just about any muzzle brake does even better. A suppressor from my observation does 3 things.     Tikka Roughtech comes in Ember ,Black or Tan color stocks.. I have a Tan in 300WM and it shoots Barnes 180 TTSX @ .5 MOA
