    I did switch to the Schnee's Timberline for the 2021 season and they have been fine. I wouldn't say they are the boot of my dreams but I never had any lacing issues and my feet never really got any hot spots. I will run them for another couple seasons and probably try some other manufactures.

    I've used both side by side in the field looking at animals and the C1 was slightly brighter and clearer. The Viper has to me a better build feel and the eyecups are much better but optical performance goes to the C1.
