I have used BOA in my work shoes/boots for about 5 years or so…..always Redwings.
It is great to be able to wear shoes loose through as tight as I can imagine! Easily repaired when damaged….although this has been rare in the last couple pair.
I had the Viper HS 4-16. I found it to be great for what it is. It is optically very clear, had crisp repeatable turrets. I never had an issue at the range or in the field. Nice and light too.
I sold mine due to wanting an SFP reticle and cap less turrets with zero stop.
Layer 1: lightweight long Johns as base always.
layer 2: heavyweight fleece long Johns,
layer 3: fleece pants and jacket.
layer 4: vest.
layer 5: outer shell and shell pants…camo + waterproof/breathable
At 40-55 deg F, I wore layer 1 and layer 5 this year. I have only wore all 5 layers...
