I have had those issues as well. They seem to get better with more miles on them. I really love the boots. I’ll change insoles if need to as I think that alone will resolve any remaining issue.
I have already confirmed with them but the 2019 models like the sawtooth do not have the attachment points with it. I am sure it could be made to work somehow but you having another model that came with a lid confirms why the daypack works.
That might be the difference then if yours came with the lid. It seems the 2019s even being a GL MT frame is not set up for the daypack lid but it seems it could be rigged to work.
I would say the Sawtooth as it can be packed for multiple days if done correctly. Also, you could add the daypack lid for added capacity when it is needed or removed when it is not.
I have used Irish Setter Rutmaster 800g for the last few years. They have been my favorite rubber hunting boot to date. They hug the ankle/foot amazingly well unlike older style boots. They are warm as well. Used them in Michigan and Illinois hunting. I will also use them here in Idaho when needed.
Sixsite is a great option and they have a huge sale with this rain gear now.

I may have to check this out as I like torture. I currently do Street Parking programming for my workouts. I love their workouts and it’s a good balance but something else would be nice to try in addition to those.
