I have one from jimmy tarps. Sitka makes them in camo if you want that.
I have a water bottle holder and a pouch for misc stuff. I try not to bling up my packs too much especially if they have good organization pockets. If is easy to increase your base (unloaded) pack weight 20-30% with accessories.
Not sure if your beartooth came with a daypack lid. Mine did not last year. I upgraded to that lid (shoulder straps and a bit different construction).
Is your pack 2019?If so, the lid worked on it?
That might be the difference then if yours came with the lid. It seems the 2019s even being a GL MT frame is not set up for the daypack lid but it seems it could be rigged to work.Yeah. I bought my beartooth in 2019 when they first dropped. It came with a lid but the lid did not have shoulder straps and is a slightly different design than the day pack. I picked up a daypack lid this year from MR. fits fine. I think the daypack lid is now standard on some packs but I am not sure which ones.

Thanks for the response. Yes, fortunately mine did come with the lid so that helps. Are you running a large forager pocket with the water bottle pocket on the same side or is it the small?
I have already confirmed with them but the 2019 models like the sawtooth do not have the attachment points with it. I am sure it could be made to work somehow but you having another model that came with a lid confirms why the daypack works.
Awesome, thanks for the information. I’m looking into those pouches now. Thanks for getting back to me.Sorry. I missed your question.
I don’t run MR pouches though they are a fine option. On my guidelight MT frame (I am right handed) I run a seekoutside hip belt pocket on the right side Toward the 4-5 o’clock position near the juncture of the pack and the belt. It can still be used with the pack on but I can also wear a pistol or knife on my right side without interference. I run a seek outside mesh bottle holder on the left side in the same spot and can access the bottle with the pack on as well. I sometimes run a small folding “dump pouch” on the left side at 9 o’clock that I put misc gear in and also use as a gun bearer by inserting the rifle stock into the pouch and bungee the forearm to the shoulder strap on the left side.

Nothing wrong with the MR rain fly, just curious as to what was out there for options. I most likely am going to go with the MR. Also thanks for the link to those pouches. Looking now. What’s wrong with the MR pack fly that you don’t just want to run it?
Also instead of the forager pocket I got one of the below. Just one though as I’ll have a holster likely on the other side. Don’t need water bottle as I have a bladder inside.
