I have the Hoyt/Fuse on my Defiant. I don't have any issues with.
I also have a Fuse on my Mathews Switchback XT.
I think they are well made and work fine.

I've used the Hubba Hubba, it's good quality tent. I think most MSR products are.
I'll recommend ELK 101.
And remember not all reeds work for everyone. Some like a small framed reed and some may not.
If you know your preference that will help.
If not you may wish to try a couple different frame sizes and see what suits you.
Buy once cry once.
I would look for packs in the classifieds. I've bought packs for my sons from the clissifieds, nothing wrong with a used well treated pack.

I prefer a 5 pin slider. I tried a 3 pin but could not get much distance without having the housing interfere with my arrow.
I am shooting a lighter arrow though, and my speeds are around 264 fps.

Like I said, it's called respect. Some may...
Totally disagree. This is public land. Yes, you can be an ass and just pass him up. The right thing to do is talk to him. He was there first and that in my opinion gives him first chance. Maybe he wasn't going too far. You don't know until you discuss it. Next time beat him up the mountain.
Personally I like Prineville better than Pendleton. I live near Hermiston now, worked out of Pendleton for a while about 9 years ago. Hunting and fishing in the Prineville area is a lot better and closer. That said housing will probably be a little cheaper compared to the central Oregon area...
