I used the carbon last year to take apart an entire antelope, cape it, flesh, and turn the eyes/nose/lips. After that experience, it's my new favorite knife.
I spent a few days in the Idaho Diamond Creek zone this week and was surprised to find that there were bulls still packing their horns. The bulls with horns were spikes and rag horns.
Does anyone know when the bulls in this area drop their horns?
I picked up the Razor 4000 last week and have been ranging constantly with it over the past 5 days.
Longest frange so far is 1937 yards to the water tower and I was able to range some horses at 1187 yards.
I really like the angle compensation for shorter shots/bow hunting. When the unit is...

I would take the Rigby Elephant Rifle. I got to see the rifle when they did the press release at SCI in 2017. It was definitely impressive.

I don't believe non-residents hunters will protest the price increase this year but what happens when we eventually have another economic downturn? States that are leveraging the bulk of their income on non-residents will have to adjust quickly.
If the senators thought they were getting flak...

That's what I'd go with. I got a Benjamin for my eighth birthday and probably put 5,000 shots through it. When I was 12, I could shoot through the eye of a pop can tab at 20 yards without knocking the can over.
I voted 275 Rigby. Only because I'm building one for myself on a pre-64 action featherweight action. The only thing I'm missing is a barrel band sling swivel and I should hopefully have my rifle ready by fall.
I had a first generation Black Diamond 5-25x. The scope had good glass but lacked a zero stop and had a stiff power selector ring. For the money, I would buy a Burris or look to Meopta.
We need our brothers in Montana to put the pressure on Sen Tester to support the second amendment. He might be one of the few democrats to side against gun legislation.
