Here is the Sig for sale in the Classifieds: WTS - (New) SIG Zulu 9 11x45 binos | Rokslide Forum
$650 delivered. Unopened. I don't know the seller but thought it was worth looking at.
I saw new Sig Zulu9 9x45 for $719.00 last week on Amazon with Prime Free Shipping and Free Returns. The 11x45 version was $749.00 also with Prime.
I'd get the Sig 9x45 for that price as I like the light transmission of the Abbe Konig design. But, Tract is not something to be ashamed of.
I have started to wear out the gear I have. I have a 3L Patagonia set (awesome and is comparable to the Arc'Teryx) but it is a bit noisy and Kryptek Koldo which has worked really well but I'd like something more breathable. I liked Kryptek and thinkthe Takur looks good and I've been impressed...
I had the Zeiss Conquest 10x42, a set of Leupolds, Maven 11x45 and Tract Toric 10x42 at once and was able to compare. I learned that the Tract, Leupold Vortex (MIJ), Sig Zulu9 and Maven are all made in the same factory by the same company in Japan. The differences in armor and coatings...
I wear a 12 or 12.5 in most shoes and boots. The size 12 Crispi Idaho fit well. The medium width Idaho are slightly wide for me and I need to tighten the laces considerably to lock in my heel. But otherwise, they’re great.
As others have said, if you use a product that has an oil base, it likely can cause the rand to separate. That’s not covers by Lowa or most manufacturers. I’d recommend you only use what they recommend.
Nice job. Any reason Mystery Ranch wasn’t included in part 2? Iv been looking at the Beartooth 80, the Kuiu and the Sitka. Had been curious to see how it ranked.
I have some sig optics. They have never failed. so haven’t used the warranty but understand from friends who have that Sig is easy to work with and very similar to Vortex in customer service. I’d probably get the Sigs.
It’s about time to get new rain gear. Seems like a lot of good options. Has anyone compared the Kuiu Yukon, Sitka Stormfront, First Lite SEAK, Kryptek Altitude and Stone Glacier M5? I’m interested in durability and weather protection. I realize many have experienced leaks or wet outs as...
Amazon carries many of the best hiking and hunting brands. Often with Prime benefits - free shipping and free returns. They have zamberlan, Kennetrek, lowa, asolo, Salewa, hanwag, scarpa and others. Try several. Return what doesn’t fit.
I’ve tried many of the high ends brands and still have several items. But after trying them and Patagonia, Smartwool, icebreaker and others, I found that LLBeans midweight 100% merino works best for me. It is supremely soft snd doesn’t itch. After three seasons and use skiing, it hasn’t lost...
I’d also recommend the Dalibor pants. But I’d look hard at pairing with the Njord jacket and Njord pants for colder days instead of Cadog. Cadog is not windproof, Njord is wind and waterproof. Just as quiet. Or you can swap the Njord jacket for a Vellus jacket. Dalibor jacket is not...
I dont have much experience with Kuiuhaving only had some pants for a short spell. But they seemed good. Just a little noisy. I do have a lot of Sitka and quite a bit of Kryptek. I think the Kryptek altitude stuff is the best on the market and Sitka is a close second. I don’t have...
