I've never hunted wallow toads. How far did you have to pack in? Does hunting pressure push them very far? Most importantly, are they always out of focus like that as a form of camouflage? I kid, I kid.
It's actually great to take time away from your pursuit to take in the other splendors...
If you check just your frame pack, I'd highly suggest putting it in heavy duty trash bags or get bags from the airline like they use for car seats and stuff. This will help keep straps and other stuff from getting snagged on the conveyor belts and so on.
However, when I've flown with packs...
Search this forum for my thread on making DIY pullouts and pouches. Start with making simple stuff sacks and then go to pullouts with zippers. From there, maybe make a water bottle holder that will help with sewing small curved @#$@#$!@##!@ things. From there, learn some of the seams...
If you can afford a chamber sealer get one. In my opinion they are vastly superior. There is a reason that fish and meat processors use chamber sealers. There is a complete evacuation of air. Also, on a plus side, you can get bags cheaper and in different mil thicknesses. I like thicker...
I'm pretty sure people get it from Tractor Supply or other farm and home type stores. You might look into that if you have one nearby....in Palm Beach...:ROFLMAO::rolleyes::cautious:
A buddy has one draped over his couch. Looks cool but I found it to be kinda itchy when sitting on his couch. The hairs seemed to poke through a t-shirt.

I'll add my vote for a .30 as well. This winter, when you are bored, put together a cheap 300 BLK and amass some subsonic rounds. I still giggle a bit when I shoot mine.
Having a bottle can be great for adding in drink mixes. Be it just flavoring, recovery mix or even a mix to go with some alcohol, a bottle is nice to have.
Now, a bottle, for me at least, can have a downside as I tend to drink a lot more from a bottle. When I'm thirsty, I can literally chug...
In warmer, drier climates, there are more creepy crawlers around. I used my Redcliff on June in Utah and wouldn't go without a nest.

It's kinda funny. If you concentrate on the poles, it will mess you up. Just like if you concentrate on how your arms are swinging, you get all funky. Walk 100 yards at a normal pace and then do it again while concentrating on how your arms are swinging. Well, now you can't because it'll be...
