Bison Hide !?!?

I've recently acquired a tanned bison hide, not going to say no to a free hide, don't have it yet, it's being shipped.

Any ideas on what to do with it? I don't have any walls big enough to hang it. I figure it might be a nice bed spread but probably too hot to actually sleep under due to the leather. Maybe a couch cover?

Any ideas, pics of what you've done?

A buddy has one draped over his couch. Looks cool but I found it to be kinda itchy when sitting on his couch. The hairs seemed to poke through a t-shirt.

Start wearing it around and pretend you're Anthony Hopkins in Legends of the Fall?

Take it to the local university, spread it out on the quad lawn, strip down to your banana hammock and try to pick up chicks while lounging on it?

Just throwing out some ideas that popped into my head..

It's tough, I had some work boots made of bison leather and the leather outlasted the rubber/foam/plastic.

Didn't do it myself, so getting it as is from the folks who got it tanned.

I'm thinking either couch 'throw', cover for the footboard on the bed, or a rug, although no good places for the rug right now.

Use it as a rug in a not so well used area. Ours are draped over spare beds, we have 3 of them. One will be a rug when the old carpet comes up.
They make cool wall hangings as well, maybe get a native american or local artist to paint a scene on the leather side.
