Darn Tough socks.

I still love my Smartwool socks, but DT's rock! Probably all I will buy going forward. Oh, and I don't wear a liner sock with either.

NICE Frame Extension by Mystery Ranch

I am really liking the MR lift kit on my Longbow/NICE combo. Much more comfortable!

6' bag for a 6'1" guy

I am 6ft and made the mistake years ago of going with a regular. Never again! 6ft 6 bags are all I buy now.

What's your favorite backpacking stove?

I used the MSR Whisperlite for a few years until I picked up a Pocket Rocket. Haven't touched my Whisperlite since and even though I was impressed with my guides Jetboil on my sheep hunt, I will stick with the pocket rocket for now.

280 AI question

Best bet is to buy a 280 and have it punched to 280AI. A 7-08 won't work as it is most typically built on a short action receiver.

What is your mountain hunting boot of choice?

Hanwag Alaska boots for me. Best fit I have ever had. Tried to like the Lowa Tibet boot but they just didn't work for my feet.

Mystery Ranch Crew Cab Daypack Mode?

Mtmiller, What cartridge is your GAP chambered for? I only have experience with the Longbow but love it for a dedicated daypack, and, I like it much more now that I have the Mystery Ranch lift kit on it!

Wiggys bags

Are the Wiggys bags accurate in their temp ratings? I don't get a lot of use out of my cold weather bags, so going cheap is really appealing.... :)

Who Mountain Bikes?

I ride a Specialized Carve Comp. Love this bike! Used to be a hard core road racer and triathlete years ago. Riding off road is much safer seeing that so many drivers are texting/ reading texts on the roads these days....

Upgrades , what are you changing out in your pack for next year ?

I need to upgrade my spotter. Hoping to find a deal on a Swarovski 20-60x65. I am definitely looking to upgrade sleeping bags to cover cold weather hunts, but no rush there.
