    Why do we buy soft shells?

    I'm in the same boat as most on this page. I dont understand the soft shell and think its good for about 2 weeks of the hunting season. Heck I wore an Axis jacket to my sons t ball game last October and froze me butt off. I sold it and got a Cirque to try out.
