Totally pumped for you. I've listened to so many podcasts and read so many forms and watched so many videos....Can't wait for my own adventure in the NWT 2020.
I finally gave up on my Kennetek. After two pair and every insert you can imagine, I gave up...I went back to the Miendl. Just bought the Comfort Fit Extreeme. Fingers are crossed as I have one year to get my feet sorted out for my NWT sheep hunt! I'll post a review after I put a month of...
I need some help. I have a pair of Kennetek mountain Extreeme boots. The left boot fits great. The right boot rubs the tops of my middle toes - especially when I wear my loaded pack. I’ve tried different inserts to try and make more room for the toes. I’ve tried thinner socks. The fit is not...
For my upcoming NWT sheep hunt, are crocs adequate or should I consider a water/trail shoe for crossing rivers and as a back up to my boots. If a trail water shoe, which one have you all used. Again another idea from a pod cast I heard.
I was listening to a Jay Scott pod cast today. Someone suggested that the Kuiu Yukon pant with a marino under layer is all that needed for most extreem hunts. What are the pros and cons of using only the Yukon pant. I'm trying to decided is this the way to go for my 2020 Sheep Hunt.

Way to go dad - being a dad. Congratulations as it’s a lost art...and the bear is cool too! Thank you from a fellow American with a vested interest in other Americans raising good kids.
I’m planning on a Kodiak brown bear hunt in fall of 2021 or Spring 2022. I’d like to get this settled and booked. After going through threads here and on other forums it is very tough to settle on an outfitter. My goal is a Kodiak Hunt so that parts easy. After that I could use some advice...
I'm getting ready to take advantage of a Kuiu sale and buy my rain gear. My hunt is NWT 12 day August - Sept. Do I go with the Chugach or Yukon. There is probably a thread on this somewhere in here, but I couldn't find it. thanks all.
I’m 48 and want to enjoy my sheep hunt next year. Started at 235 and today I’m 224. My goal is 200. Haven’t been at that weight since 1995. Eating meat, fruit and soups. Cutting bread, dairy, pasta and portion sizes. I have no idea what size I’ll be at the time of the hunt so buying the...
