I was undecided until somebody made the point about- why make everybody pay the CC fee if some dont want to use a CC? Good point i agree. But I do find it frustrating when you get a price for something and then its plus 3% for CC use.
As for tag prices going up and hunters walking away forever...
Weatherguard makes alot of different box shapes but I usually drill a hole through the bedrail and bolt the box to the bedrail with a fair sized washer on both sides to give it some more surface area. The beds are real easy to access as well if you bolt it down to the bed.
Ventvisors are good...
Oh man do i hate political discussions in a forum like this. This thread is a great reminder. I just want to talk about hunting. No deep state, patagonia, Benghazi, Obama, Trump, the Times, i know way more about politics than you ever will and I can prove it type stuff. I just want to read about...
Robby nailed it. He doesnt care about those mounts. And there is no sentimental value associated with them for him. He could have got them on Craigslist or on a trade and attached a big fish story to them. I think if they were important to him he would never have let anyone else possess them...
The Beckel tent looks interesting. I had not heard of them.
Dave Ellis canvas tents has several two man tents. Theyre not traditional wall tents, most are re-creations of historic tent designs. Theyre real basic as canvas tents and tarps go but they go up with one person. Most use two poles...
I dont think they make their heads either. I believe they are contracted to another Arizona company who manufactures them for Outdoorsmans. The tiny pawn shop they work out of is no machine shop. A price increase may not be initiated by them.
Every camping trip I try to practice or teach a skill set with the kids. I keep it fun and light, maybe an hour or two, teach them to find dry wood, finding chunks of pine sap, finding bugs, ways to get a fire going, places to stay dry, how to avoid wind, random outdoor stuff thats good to know...
Barndominium.
Ive seen alot of them built as lofts to leave usable space below it. Its a great mancave/party room/apartment. Ive helped build two but they were added after the pole building was completed to avoid zoning or code hastles. If you use contractors to build that living space- that...
The mid grade line is the Optima line. Thats about $275 for the Northwest legal model. I got one at muzzle-loaders dot com. Theyre out of a small town in eastern Oregon, very helpful guys if you ever have questions or want recommendations. I think they will price match Buds or others. Midway...
I just reread my post and thought it may help very little.
I am just as confident that I could hit a deer broadside at 100 yards with my $300 ml as I am with my $1,000 ml. I dont worry that my CVA will fail and ruin my hunt or anything like that.
I have a $300 ml and the Ultra Lite. To compare it to other guns I own I would frame it like this, I have an old Remington 870 and I have a nice Browning over/under. They both shoot the same ammo and achieve the same thing. One probably doesnt bring home more birds than the other but that...
Sleeping bag around them. Blue tarp over a blanket or sleeping bag helps too. Works good when keeping coolers from getting hot.
Consider using hot rocks. A couple cantelope sized rocks heated from the fire pit help keep stuff warm. If its getting down to single digits sometimes i heat a few...
The only reason I don’t fire it is because I don’t like any unnecessary shots fired in the season I am hunting. Only reason. Yes it could be argued it is not unnecessary but this is my opinion.
Sometimes I will drive to a nonhuntable piece of terrain every 3 4 days and fire it.
I think 15% is a good target and adjust accordingly from there. Ive been on a cheap 3 day hunt and 15% didnt seem right for the work and time put in. 25% seemed more appropriate. I have also been on fishing trips in terrible weather and there was no way giving this guy 15% seemed right either...
The state police should be a good start. Many states have a “duty office” at the agencies headquarters where there is a sergeant on duty 24 hours who could help direct your inquiry. You can look at the NICS appeal process.
I am not asking what it is, but I assume you have a roughidea of what it...
