Hearing a little bit that last couple of nights up in the Blues. 0530 here now, 43 degrees but it’s going to be 100 by mid afternoon. Seems like the the cool mornings woke them up so to speak. Looks like Friday the highs will only be in the 70s. Here in NE Oregon, that should carry east into at...

    Successful Alaska moose hunt!

I guided fishing up in Bristol Bay for 20 years. Come september I was always amazed how far up some of the little creeks local guys could get their boats. Great looking bull, well done.

I appreciate your service. IF they pay you enough and give you the vacation time you need you’ll be golden.

Good luck. I quit several jobs when I was a young man so I could hunt. You get older and have more responsibility than a truck payment, well it gets a lot tougher to do that. IF it will allow you to retire before you're 55 like I did, go for it.

Some friends asked us to meet them at Safari Club 2023 in Nashville, but??????

We went last year. Had a good time handling shotguns I’ll never own, but now I understand. Also got fitted for a side by side, that’s something I can take advantage of. Dr. Catherine had a hard time with all the trophy brides and popped out titties. Our reason for going was to meet our African...

    laminate floors

I’ve been plagued by this. Seems the last three houses we have fixed up and sold all needed new floors. I’ve had great luck with life proof click lock. Do make sure your floor is level, thin set probably the way to go. I’ve used it in Bathrooms kitchens entry ways and laundry rooms. It is water...

    Sidearm or Not?

I've been on and off the Alaska peninsula every year but this since 1958/59. I've been involved in 4 DLP SHOOTINGS, only one in the last 20. I'm also a 20 year veteran of Swat, kinda proficient with hand guns and O/C. During my 20 year guiding career I sprayed several bears a year, most of those...
