    Montana Side by Side Laws

I think a stock side by side with proper registration is all you need, a license plate and trail sticker. They all pretty much have head lights and brake lights at this point, I don’t think turn signals is a requirement. I bought mine out there and have been back there with it and just get the...

    Someone’s been shed hunting

My uncle was buying a lot of the lower grade horn from one of those buyers a few years ago and getting it delivered several pallets at a time in the lower 48. Just like the pallets above but moose.

70's Winchester Model 70 - LA or SA?

I’d assume being a .243 they would consider it a short action

    Good eats Waikiki

There was a little hole in the wall sushi place on the ground floor of I believe the Monarch hotel. Also my buddy says the nachos at Tapas on the 3rd Friday of the month are pretty good.

Who takes a home office deduction?

I did it for my 1099 side business for 7-8 years, I quit my w2 job and now I’m fully self employed. My wife has a side business in addition to her w2 job as well.

    Minnesota HF3813 Lead ammunition ban

That’s an entirely different set of issues, and while I’m not against the sentiment, I’d love for someone to explain to me how they are going to do it.

    Minnesota HF3813 Lead ammunition ban

Do you hunt or shoot? We have non toxic shot requirements for waterfowl, which is fine, but a 100% lead ban and specifically calling out highschool shooting sports? Asinine. But law enforcement can go to the same range and use lead? Make it make sense.

    Minnesota HF3813 Lead ammunition ban

I dunno man, I wouldn’t put anything past them these days. Look at the 2040 legislation they passed last year. I like how it’s for everyone but law enforcement.

Who takes a home office deduction?

Some info on it, we’ve been taking it for quite awhile. If I understand it correctly it’s a form of depreciation and when you sell your house you have to declare it as a capital gain and pay capital gains on the depreciation you took, so you still get 75% of the deduction overall...

Leaving Trail Cameras over the Summer

That’s been my concern, I want to throw a few out this summer but I also don’t want to tip off anyone or lose the intel to someone else.

    Budget Trail Cameras that work

I haven't found a cheap camera that's bullet proof yet, but there are a few that work. The best $30ish dollar camera I've run is the muddy/steathcam/wildgame 14-16mp cameras. They run a standard flash, they're pretty reliable, I've got a dozen of them and they're all still going after 3 seasons...

Words I wish I could take back

My Brothers wife totaled her Jeep awhile ago and they replaced it with a half ton pickup because she got scared about stuff moving around in an accident with kids in car seats. My Brother was pretty particular with what they replaced it with so it wasn’t 100% her choice on the truck, so she...

Do engineers have a sense of humor?

I started out of college as a field engineer in Industrial construction, mainly working between the site and all of the different engineers on the project. With a 10-15 year frame of reference and looking back it’s pretty impressive how smoothly those projects went in the grand scheme of things.

    Elk Hunting with Newborn Baby?

One thing I’ve observed is everyone’s life operates a little differently, some of its choices, some of its circumstances. This setting tends to distill hunters as a group to a more intense pool than I’d say hunters on an average. To some guys here hunting is life, to some it’s a part of life. To...

Do engineers have a sense of humor?

That makes you a Unicorn. I worked for a state agency for about 10 years and within that Agency they had their own in house Septic system designer. When that Agency needed a new system they sent this guy and 10 of his friends out and made a project out of it, literally turned something that...

    Cowgirls…

Spoken like a guy that knows. Ford trucks, big gooseneck tailers, and shitty credit because if they ever get caught up on their bills they need a bigger truck or trailer or another horse they can't afford. Every time we pass one of those rigs going down the road I thank my wife for not being...

    Mortgage Cosigner Legal Help

That sucks man, Realistically I'm guessing your options will sound something like this, even with a lawyer I'll venture to guess it comes down to 1 of 3 things. 1) You find a technicality that gets you out of the note, not very realistic, but it could happen and a lawyer is going to be...
