Have there been studies about the genetic changes for bucks to have less than three points? In WA I have seen over 7 and they seem to all have two points.
First elk hunt. Roosevelt. Possibly solo for a few days. Wont be more than a few miles from a timber road. What gear do I need to make it happen? How many pack outs is reasonable and how much weight each time?

Interested to see if anyone has loaded imr 4831 under 147 eld-match bullets in the 6.5 creedmoor. I see 2650 fps at 42.2 grains. What are real world numbers you guys are getting? I also have some old H4831 that I will be trying too.
