Fast moving fires

Hopefully none of the slide is in the path of the very fast moving fires in California.

My friend has a house in Rustic canyon just SW of the fire. The area is under evacuation orders as of ten last night. Not far from Will Rogers park. The winds are bowing to the west of the area as of last night. 7 million $ home. He is in Hawaii right now.

It is very terrible, houses worth 1-2$ getting burned down.
it is supposedly a fire caused by a person.

i remember september and october being santa ana months. nothing worse than going back to school in september and then finally the weather gets nice and hot and youre stuck sitting at a desk. and then halloween you'd see fire in the hills. nice and stuffy shuffling around in the costume mom made.

january was when it rained. well, until like 84....
