I’m hearing mixed opinions about all and it is essentially going to come down to person preference. Many have Owens at least one if not all three. I’ve never owned a Savage and never owned a CA. But I might ask, would anyone who had loads be willingly nag to send me a PM with details regarding...
I'm in the market for a larger caliber rifle, for western big game. I have a Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56 to go on whatever rifle I end up going with. Just trying to get input on different owners experiences to help me make my decision.
As someone who’s in the market for a new rifle for this year I wanted some input. I am a left handed shooter who’s grown up shooting left hand bolt guns. I know it may sound a little spoiled but it’s what I’ve had growing up.
I am in the market for a new bolt gun chambered in 300WSM for use...
@Josh Boyd I am on the fence between the guardian and Cinnabon. What I’m looking for would be a dual purpose shelter. Something me, my wife and the dog could utilize in the spring summer and into the fall for backpacking trips and I could use as a solo shelter with a stove for fall and winter...
I'm looking for the #3 Hoyt Z5 Cams for my LH Nitrum 34. If anyone on here has a set, I am looking for them. Long story short i was measured incorrectly for my draw length and purchased a used 2015 Nitrum 34 from a guy in montana. Love the bow, but the draw length is about an inch too short and...
Difference between 1st class and economy seats is almost $1000 to the airport I plan to fly into. No international or large airports around where I plan to hunt.
Ideally in a perfect world, I would like to do a Euro Mount if I end up killing a buck. I would assume most leave them with a local taxidermist or transport it home in the cooler
I'm sure there is a thread about this already but I'll ask about it. I currently live in NC, going to be antelope hunting this fall. I will be flying out and taking 5 days to hunt. If I am fortunate enough to punch my tag, how does one go about transporting meat when it comes to flying across...
I will say the one piece of SG gear I have, fits exceptionally well. I ordered some Kuiu base layers yesterday to see how I like them doing some post season scouting land cleaning up the stuff. Wishing I could find a way ti get to the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo in February!
I can not thank everyone enough. As a new Western Hunter I will be the first to say it can be overwhelming at times, between gear, clothing, sleep systems, packs, calibers to choose from, transportation, planning, learning each states regulations, the draw vs not drawing, preference points, and...
I applied in Wyoming this year. Very small unit but with no points I was very limited in draw opportunities in units with a higher amount of public land. Most of the unit is NFS and wilderness area.
