Reconyx are my favorite but are expensive. I have a browning that is terrible. Very disappointed in that one. Have a cheap Amazon campark one that is decent for such a cheap camera. My latest is a stealthcam Ds4kmax. Takes great video but terrible photos. Maybe it’s the settings I’m using...
I’ve tried carrying a camera in the past and find it to be too big and bulky for my liking and it would just stay in the truck after Day 1. I now just carry a point and shoot. I don’t know how big your camera is, but I don’t imagine it hurts to bring it along and give it a try to see if it...
Before you get too carried away. May be good to contact the meateater folks. This could make for a good episode. It would be interesting to see what recipe they use. Alternatively, you could start up your own show. It would probably only go downhill after this episode though.

Can always be easy to be fooled by photos but I’d guess 150ish plus or minus if being generous. My actual estimate is low 140s. Better get him and let us know 😊
I agree if your sole concern is identifying your target for making the kill. Either option should do fine at getting you to the end of legal shooting light. I have 10x42, and it serves this purpose.
If I could choose, I’d take the 10x50. It seems to me that when I really need the binos is always in the very last minutes of light and any slight advantage would be welcome.
That said, they are at different price points, and I would probably go to an NL Pure instead if I were seriously...
Better question…can you have a life as a taxidermist? I know my taxidermist gets out and gets nice deer, but it seems like it’s difficult for him to be out during prime time when he’s expecting animals to be brought in. Also more difficult for him to make trips for hunting. This is in...
