I had the Novagrade and returned it as well. I found it to be a PITA to get lined up right as compared with others. I ended up with the tinesup. Works great.
That’s what it says but it worked for me. I was paranoid it wouldn’t work and that raise was fake, so I wanted to try a few before I dove in. It worked so I dove all in and now have all my gift cards as physical ones purchased online from Cabela’s
This is exactly what I’m doing. I bought well over 100 gift cards. I used them to buy physical gift cards from Cabela’s. Now I’m waiting for activejunky to have a higher percentage back which aligns with 10% off day plus some more. I figure by being patient I will get my brand new Swarovski ATX...
Totally depends on you guys’ desires. I always hunt with my dad, and we only have one tag between us. We’re happy if we get one. But that is a dad/son situation. If I were hunting with a friend, I would get a tag whether or not they got one.
I mentioned digiscoping as my reason, but see other folks listing other things separately so I will too. I will use it for hunting, scouting, and bird watching as well. Digiscoping goes along with these things. I will also use it for family vacations.
Our terrain where I live doesn’t lend...
Up until a few days ago I was determined that I was going to get a Swarovski ATX 65. I re-evaluated what I’m really wanting to get out of it, and have changed my position so that I’m going to get the ATX 95. I’m just waiting for higher cash back than is currently being offered. My main reason...
Well, since you've had a few people mention the 95 and only one the 65, I need to even it out. I am just about to pull the trigger on a 65. I was torn between the 3 options as well. The deciding factor for me is that I do NOT want size to ever be a reason why I wouldn't bring it along...
You can get them at Raise.com. Just looked. It looks like you can get 7% cash back or else buy them at 5% off right now. I'm new to Raise.com and haven't done the cash back option yet, but I did just buy a load of Cabela's ones for 15% off, and the codes all worked.
I recently had a training with one of the teachers being one of the brightest engineers in the industry. He made the comment not to worry about decimal places when 42 assumptions have been made leading up to your answer. The same rings true here. As Buzz pointed out, there are so many unknown...
I got the universal adapter because I know I’ll be upgrading my spotter in the near future. It works great on my spotter and binos. If not going with a universal adapter, I’m sure the other brands out there work great as well.
I did try the double gripper but returned it. It was a PITA for me...
I am looking at getting an ATX soon as well. I'm leaning toward the 65mm mostly due to packability and wanting absolutely no excuse not to bring it along.
That said, I have the exact tripod and head you mention. I currently have a Vortex Skyline ED which is almost exactly the same weight as...
I got this as well. I have tried 3 different ones recently. My favorite is the Tines Up. Works great, but it isn't universal on the phone side.
The two others I tried were the Novagrade Double Gripper and this one. Personally, I like this better than the Novagrade. Much easier setup. The...
This may be the case for you, but for those that are now out there experiencing hunting in the west because of his show, it would be the opposite perspective. He encourages people to get out there and try something they may not have otherwise thought possible. This is a good thing and creates...
