After seeing the price of Thor bullets I was thinking about gluing sabot bottoms to some Barnes pictured like a power belt. Have you shot any Thor bullets?
Consider a pack in muzzle loader hunt as the weather can be crappy in oct rifle and he can still use a firearm, but with all muzzle loader tags you will be limited to one unit

I carry a cheap-o in my pack when just on hikes and an actual 3-lam space blanket when on a scouting or hunting trip. Always have a way to make a fire if stuck out over night.
