    What are your elk plans for 2012?

    I am blessed that's for sure. I grew up hunting Rosie's on the Oregon coast, so I seem to gravitate to thick, steep places where no one else once to go which sometimes is not a good thing. And thanks for the info!

    Back country water storage.

    I use the 4 liter platypus plus my 3 liter bladder to pack water in any way you look at it, it is heavy going in but the container is light weight and collapsible which allows me to carry it all the time and fill it up at every opportunity which is not much.

    Thanks for the info. Yes it is pricey. I have been hunting Idaho for several years and when they raised there prices It seemed very expensive as well, now these two states are close to being the same if you go for deer and elk.
