Long range bullets?

Arrow weight for elk?
Axis 340 100 grain wacem exit 425 grain finished weight As long as you are above 400 I wouldn't worry too much and just make the shot count. -

Anyone use pack goats?
Might want to go wit bigger animals as you said. 2 weeks with 4 guys is a lot of gear/food. Especially if you get a few animals down. Either that or multiple trips with smaller animals. -

Appendix Carry?
This^^^ It all depends what you carry. A smaller pistol works great. I prefer carrying a larger pistol and end up carrying around 5 o'clock. If you body type and size of pistol allows it great. As soon as I sit down with appendix carry it becomes uncomfortable. -

What LR 30cal bullet for hunting?
I am in the process of load development for a 300 WM with the 215 Berger. Great bullet. Showing 3 separate nodes for powder charges. Largest group out of 12 different powder charges was 1 MOA. Kifaru 6 Man Tipi Advice
Basic rule for me with gear stove and wood 4 man = solo 6 man = 2 guys 8 man = 3 guys 12 man = 4 guys You can fit more but I like my own space. I don't like digging through everyone's gear. This is all packing on my back too. With stock for me and one other person I love the 8 man every time. -

This. An 8 man is good for 3 guys gear and stove. Too much wood or gear and it gets tight. 4 with gear and a stove is doable but tight. -

Why is everyone selling their Vortex optics?

Shuttling Meat on packout
I have done this before. We didn't have enough time to get the meat all the way to the trailhead so we made two trips to a ridge where there rest of it was down hill.- Beastmode

No but it will shoot them slower than a 1:9. Not by much though.
