I have used many LPVO’s over the years. I think the best bang for buck is the Delta Stryker 1-6. Daylight bright dot, good reticle and glass without being a tank in the weight category.
Use it when you can. I have killed with a 25-223 (almost the same thing, but a shorter neck) and a 25-6.8spc. Both out of AR platforms. The 85gr BT and 90gr Gameking Hollownpoint make nasty wounds.

I love my SBE3. One of my favorite guns period. I just slay with it. I did test POI and shimmed it to get it set up, which is a process I think most folks skip/don't understand.
I wouldn’t think about not using a tumbler of some kind… but I’m different I guess. I mostly shoot gas guns and all my rifles are suppressed. I have moved to wet tumbling exclusively after using media tumblers and ultra sonic, and wet tumbling is the way to go.
