I look almost daily. A good friend of mine works with H&H and I was just giving him a hard time the other day about listing a 150 acre place for $2.3M. Told him he’s making my dream of buying hunting land some day feel pretty hopeless. Haha
*Sorry, 277 acres for $2.3M.
Going on 60 days here. Been awesome. I have substituted some Blue Moon NA in and enjoy a few of those once in awhile. Hasn’t been one morning waking up well rested, clear mind, ambitious, that I thought “ man I wish I had drank alcohol last night”. Haha

I got a kick out of the shooter from Turkey that showed up in sweat pants and a tshirt, shot with one hand in his pocket like a hit man, and won silver. No fancy optics or anything. Haha.
Come on America, we’re letting Turkey out America us!

I find myself checking on real estate for sale in this exact location at least once a week. Moving out there is out of the question for me but I can sure visit for a month or two at a time!

The 3” likely goes up and through the roof as the main vent stack, so if you tie your sink drain into it, it would be vented and not need another vent ran, correct?

Take them seriously for sure. We had a tense encounter last year at 30 yards and then a week later got a bull down and lost more than half the meat to a sow griz with cubs.
Talked with another group that had a guy get charged by a sow with 3 grown cubs. He got them stopped at mere feet, but...
My wife is on her second Traverse (2018) with 130k miles on it. No trouble other than deer collisions. We live in the country and I’m super impressed with how it does in deep snow.

Also interested. This seems to be how I roll. There’s been numerous times that I go to bed around 9 - 930, wake up wide awake ready to roll, mind racing, only to find that it isn’t even midnight yet. Get up, make coffee and head into town to go to work, at midnight. [emoji2369] This isn’t the...
I just went down the rabbit hole of watching some of the high school talent out there right now. Bo Basset is a sophomore in high school and winning open D-1 college tournaments. Markus Blaze is another. Crazy talent.

I have jokingly said in the past after not getting any tags that I wonder how long a guy would get away with just going hunting without one.
The way things are shaping up with tag availability and prices, I wouldn’t be surprised to start seeing this happen more in the near future.

I always come to the same conclusion when reading through all this stuff. “Why in the hell have I not moved out there yet?”

I think it’s just a matter of being where they’re at. We were hunting pretty heavy griz and wolf country and had melees of 10-12 bulls screaming all around us at times. General tag area.

We had a big griz come in to 40 yards while working a bull in thick cover a couple weeks ago in WY. Thank goodness he behaved and we vacated that ridge.

Good thread. Got me to reflecting. We moved to our small community of about 2600 people 18 years ago. I started out at $9/hr working for a carpenter. Five years later opened our own construction company with my brother.
Read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” about 8 years ago and got the real estate bug...
One piece of advice I can offer from experience…plant all the trees you can envision wanting on the place ASAP! It’s easy to get caught up in building, working, kids, etc and 10-15 years later get the time/motivation to plant trees/food plots and think “damn I wish I had just done this when I...
