    High Mileage Vehicle's

If you do the work yourself, most repairs will cost less than a down payment on a new truck these days. And you won't have that $500 payment every month.

    onX hunt inaccurate property lines

I try not to hunt right next to property lines but the right hand side is timber company land that I have access to and I have hunted elk in here. The property owner does not have a fence along his property line and I don't recall seeing signs posted either. But the vegetation changes on a...

    One Piece Baselayer?

Used to wear a knitted wool Union suit while hunting, if it was freezing cold out it was nice and warm, but it itched since it wasn't Merino. Trap door was pretty functional too, definitely warmer for a #2.

    onX hunt inaccurate property lines

It takes a little common sense on the part of the onx map user for Christ's sake, lines on the map are just approximate. I never find lines that are on the actual property lines, they are all shifted a bit. The map provides a general idea of where the line is, user needs to look for the natural...

    Entering Waypoint Coordinates in OnX

If you have specific coordinates but that is not where you are located, just create a waypoint and save it. Them go to my content, select that waypoint, touch 3dots to right and view/edit. There you can enter coordinates. Sorry I am incorrect it seems, you cannot edit the coordinates, only copy...

How much do you value boot weight and height?

The upper looks soft and not able to hold foot in place and would let foot slide forward in downhill travel. What about sidehill movement?

Better option than Kenetrek Mountain Extreme Boots???

It is my understanding that their system is matching a boot to your foot shape, i.e. from the measurements you provide and the tracing of your foot, they will choose a boot brand and model that will best fit that foot shape, recommend it and provide insole(s), and socks etc,. to provide best fit...

    Sleeping Bag Liner Recommendation

I wear wool base layers, wool socks and light wool beanie (kuiu) and use the bag liner in my marmot sawtooth 15° bag. I slip it on feet all the way then lift butt and slide liner up to back, then sit up and pull it up. After zipping and laying down I spread legs and arms to pull slack out of...

Russel Moccasin Grand Slam Sheep Hunter

I get the impression that they would be good flat land hunting boots but not very supportive for mountain hunting. The term moccasin makes me think soft and supple. But if they cannot make them correctly to order them no way for that much money.
