I emailed EuroOptic about the 6.5 PRC stainless SKU earlier this year and was told it wouldn't be imported. I'm glad this has changed. I'll probably buy one.
Currently traveling and while fighting insomnia stumbled onto Birdforum for some Swaro gossip. Sounds like we might be getting 52 mm NLs soon. Likely 10s and a larger power (12? 15?).
Interesting choice if true. Gives us 32, 42, and 52 NL options.
I know several optics enthusiasts who swear...
I bet I can find a Razor in a local store to confirm hue before I call Doug. A few reviews are promising.
From there it looks like Leica Pro or Revic, which I'll consider too.
Are Leica CRFs the only monocular rangefinder without the distracting blue tint?
My rangefinder for nearly the last decade has been a fantastic Sig Kilo 2000. It has instant angle compensation and it's ranging ability has left nothing to be desired. Over the years, since using Swarovski...
I wear all brands of merino (First Lite, Stone Glacier, Sitka, etc). I search for the right weight and a good fit. But to be clear about Kuiu on this thread:
Kuiu's original (circa 2011-2013) merino wasn't near as nice as some other brands and it did smell like an animal when damp. They upgraded...
I'm testing out the Leupold Full Draw 5 this evening next to my old Sig Kilo 2000 and my Swaro SLC 10s.
Question for the OP @autumnaspens, do you see any downside to the CRF Pro for archery? EHR is pretty much instant? What's the low end range?
New strings and cables for my compound.
I'm looking to find the ultimate archery rangefinder. The Leupold Full Draw 5 was delivered today. Maybe it will be the one.
Ballistics worth it for 600 and in?
I sold my 8x Geovid-R because I decided I wanted 10x and didn't love waiting on EHR. I'm planning to buy Meopta Optika LR 10x42 next because I think they will give me the closest thing to the optic I want (Swaro SLC w/ simple RF).
I'm assuming while you...
The Swaro SLC 15 is the best game finding optic I've ever used. According to several Rokslide members, the latest and greatest Meopta 15 are very close and arguably more robust for less money.
If you are used to the Leica EHR delay, I think it's the winner.
After messing with the new CFR-R and 2400-R over the last month I'm pretty sure the "reprogram" info on this forum is BS. I'd like to be wrong, but even if you read the "reprogram" guide that was referenced, it mentions EHR will...
I develop my own 6-8 weeks blocks from what I learned reading Tactical Barbell. I shift progression and maintenance of all strength and energy systems throughout the year around hunting season. After being disciplined for over seven years now, I realize the only thing that matters is...
I'd bring a Spartan bipod. It's worth the weight if you get in a controlled situation. Which is not far-fetched for an NWT sheep hunt.
Definitely prepare for awkward seated/kneeling positions off your backpack as well. Try to set your range limits for each position before you go. i.e. 300 yards...
Dude just shot 18/20 at 1,140y in 18-24 mph, multi canyon winds with what appears to be a stock hunting configuration with factory ammo.
I'd say it's shooting okay!
Enjoying the review. I've always liked Browning firearms.
