Tell me about the 6 arc

It’s too bad you can’t get the same pressures in ARs that you can in bolt guns for the arc. But other from that fantastic round. I’ve taken some big mule deer with the 108 eldms too, and those, below a certain range, are also quite capable of taking elk.

I think in a bolt gun you can step up to the GT or Creed too. But I also looked at a Gen 2 American yesterday. I think with a new stock and trigger that'd be a lot of fun!

Just wish this wind would calm down. Christmas Eve is 10-15 so I'll probably say screw it and go test this thing out.

I have a Howa Mini in 6 ARC as a packing gun for long days and backcountry hunts. Used it to take a nice whitetail buck this year. Shoots really well with Berger 105 VLDs over TAC getting 2660 FPS.

I bought a Howa mini for my daughter. Barreled action from Brownells and a stockys vg. I did end up bedding it. But it’s about a 1 mos / round gun now. My daughter loves it. And she’s recoil sensitive.
I also have a heavy barreled Howa in 300 wm. They both have the same trigger mod. I removed the original spring and replaced it with one from a ball point pen. They are fantastic triggers now.’

6 arc if your gonna do an AR. I’d go 6 creed if your want a bolt gun.

My Howa Mini is a 1.5 MOA gun without suppressor. When I add the can, the barrel harmonics change and it’s a sub MOA.

Yea you need mags, bolt, and differnt barrel.

How long/heavy is you can? And how long is the barrel? Just curious as I’ve been looking at a Howa in 6ARC and have a lighter/shorter suppressor and I’m thinking I’ll cut barrel to 16”. Thanks!

I have a 22” barrel and a Banish Backcountry. I didn’t cut back the barrel. Backcountry is like 6”
