I'll be retiring a year from now, just before turning 65. I'm a fed employee planning on continuing my FEHB (Blue Cross) med insurance, for which the gov pays about 75%. Am seriously considering doing Medicare also (free Part A and paying the monthly premium for Part B). Combining those two...
Man, I must be a little slow on the uptake here but I can't visualize how you can hold binoculars without any support (thumbs?) on the underside.....where on top do your hands go and the thumbs are just on the sides of the barrels? A picture here would really be helpful!
Great info, guys, keep it coming.
Thoughts on a few of the comments--though I don't have towing plans, you never know, so the transmission cooler would be nice to have. I don't know that I'd be interested in all the "nanny" stuff so probably will stay at 2018 or older. I do want a double cab...
This kind of ties in with the current thread about prepping but do any of you guys have recommendations for a small container you use to stash cash and/or other valuables in to hide somewhere in your house? Something with some level of fireproof rating.

Wow, that's a really nice vehicle. Personally, I don't think I could/would take that into the woods, be too afraid to get it scratched up or otherwise damaged.
I (like backyardbandit, posted above) live in the greater STL area, on the southwest side. Actually in the northern end of a rural county (a conservative, red one), adjoining STL county. We are in a large development that has a lake and we have heavily wooded common ground behind us. Have...
Hey guys,
I'll be 64 y/o in a few weeks, exercise regularly, have a pretty clean diet, and will retire in a year. I have a lot of hobbies, including reading, so I keep my mind busy. But like most of my peers that I know in my age group, my short-term memory has declined over the last several...
I'm like most of the other guys who responded, I don't like their political views and their deals/discounts really are for things I don't use or can find better alternative ways to go about or purchase. So, a hard pass for me.
