These are good questions to find out. It'd also be interesting how long it ran without refrigerant. I've fixed a lot of lines where a wire rubbed then eventually shorted out and blew a hole in the line or just a rub that finally wore through and all the refrigerant was lost. Typically everything...
Not sure either. We always apply separately so usually someone has a tag and we all go. This year I drew, my buddy drew, neither of our wives drew but we all still go.
Worked many animals with a case trapper and a case stockman. Not spendy and easy to sharpen. Gutted, skinned and quartered a nice bull last year with a case medium stockman.
UPS still delivers Amazon to our house. We have a great driver and never had an issue. Anything usps is 3-5 days late. If they say a Monday delivery you can almost count on a Thursday delivery. USPS is the slowest for us.
Lots of rural Montana is affordable. My wife has been at home for 11 years now and we've been able to make ends meet, buy property and build. We could possibly make more money if my wife worked but this works well for our family and our kids are at home with their mom during the day. I'd rather...
You have to eat at Pel'meni. They sell Russian dumplings. If I remember right it's the only item they sell and they are so good. I believe it's downtown in the fisherman's Wharf building.
You do what you will. There are refrigerants that better match R-22 and are cheaper for replacement.
Now, if you have an R-12 system, R-134 would be a great replacement refrigerant as long as you replace the oil. I'd love to read the literature on replacing r-22 with r-134. I read a lot of...
Been doing refrigeration for many years and have always brazed, piping, with 15% silver. Most commercial jobs you can't use sb8 because of its low melting point which could release refrigerant in a fire. I'll stick with flowing nitrogen and brazing. Also, r-22 and r-134 are two totally different...
Have a manual J done before jumping a ton and half. You'll have multiple issues if your system is oversized. Proper brazing practices, pressure test and a deep vacuum before charging with refrigerant is a must as well. Good luck. I'd find a one man shop and talk to them before making the diy jump.
I'm hoping the IG Bros are loosing interest a bit. With mule deer does not on the table anymore for many units it'll be tough for guys to come home with something to show for the money they forked out. We'll see.
Don't really plan to spend anytime downtown. Seems like most big city downtowns are chitholes. Spent a few days in Portland last May and I can't imagine it could be worse than that dump. Going to Portland was like stepping into a third world country. We walked by 3 crack heads passed out on a...
Thanks for all the replies. My kids are 6 & 8 and we figured there must be a few decent places left. It seems if you avoid downtowns the rif raf diminishes.
Will be going to a training in Spokane this May for a couple days. Will be bringing the family. Looks like Solverwood won't be open so looking for recommendations for kid stuff.
Commercial refrigeration. Gain the skills, work for a decent outfit and you'll have plenty of time. Finding a company who will let you take time off when you want is the tough part. Grocery stores and cold storage require lots of late nights, weekends and middle of the night work. Pay is great...
Do you typically bring your rifles with you or use rifles provided by the outfitters? Id like to hunt Cape buffalo someday in Namibia or Mozambique. Not sure if it'll ever happen but I can hope.
We were sitting around today wondering how much money the expo brings to Salt Lake City besides the expo itself. We stayed at the Regency this year for 3 nights, ate out, bought stuff at the mall, spent a day in Park City, bought gas, chew and snacks. I'm not sure how many attend that are out of...
