As a country, we need to decide when someone is officially an adult, and stick with that. We drive at 16. Vote, smoke, and go off to war at 18, but can't drink alcohol or purchase some firearms until we're 21. Which is it? Have we really regressed as a society to where 21 is now the age of...
The SRO wasn't stuck in the room getting shot at. Had he been, I'd bet he'd have used it, just the same as anyone else.
BTW, I'm not saying 'arm the teachers' is the answer.
I'm not defending the guy in any way, but wasn't there some legislation passed in the past years that said something to the effect of, 'LEOs are not required to put themselves in harms way to protect the public' ?
Protect yourself, because it's no one else's duty to do so.
None of those should happen, but they do. We need to wake up and find a solution. Let's start with the kids since society deems them to be the most precious. Not guarding the schools because you don't want your kid subjected to that reality doesn't change the reality. It's the world we live...
I don't think it really has to do with healthcare at all. America has a deep-rooted cultural problem that other countries do not seem to have. As silly as it sounds, I think the 1st Amendment is as responsible for this as the 2nd Amendment is. Allow me to explain.
I'm truly convinced that...
I'm so sick of the same old shit after every one of these events.
WTF are common sense gun laws? Who gets the be the expert on this subject? I've found the people spouting off about these tend to be the least educated on the subject.
What exactly is a meaningful conversation? I can blow...
I think bump stocks are stupid, but these feel good bans do NOTHING to address the root cause; whatever the hell is going on in the brain of these people.
Also, I'm not sure how the legislation is worded, but there were whispers that it is something to the effect of, 'any device that increases...
This. My Borah Gear bivy is light as hell and would work fantastic for this. I'd bet you could bring along a bug coil and still be lighter than a nest, for those times at camp where you don't want to be in your bivy just yet but still want bugs gone.
My ultimate desire for a backcountry rifle that I have to pack in is a Kimber Adirondack in 6.5c, however, I'm not quite ready to drop the coin on one + an optics setup for it. What I'm thinking instead to get me by for a few years is to buy a barrel for my T/C Pro Hunter muzzle loader that I...
Am I the only one thinking that a kick down a long flight of stairs is in order? It's hunting season, ain't nobody got time for that.
*kidding.
**also single. I'm not sure why...

I installed it in the top of the pipe and it nearly plugged off with creosote. I'll be installing it in the bottom from now on in hopes to burn some of it off.
How do those Wave hooks compare to the autolocks? I'm sure the autolocks are more steadfast in holding power, but they're also a taller profile. I kind of like the idea of the Wave hooks, but want to know that they hold just as well.
Thoughts?
I've been thinking about getting an Alaska Airlines card so I can start racking up air miles for any potential future hunting trip there. Might be worth a look if that sort of thing is on your radar.
