I always think it's cool coming across these - but I really don't know what they were.
First 2 pictures are close to a road in Medicine Bow in WY. The last 2 pictures are from northern MN near the Canadian border.
I had a Mac and then got a Lenovo gaming PC (for photo and video editing). I hate my PC and will absolutely be going back to Mac when the time comes.
Performance is fine on the Lenovo but the constant pop up harassment from McAfee, OneDrive, Microsoft, Lenovo, Nvidia makes me want to smash...
One of the local shops here used to take a picture of the deer that came in and would post them on their website. No bickering or stupid comments. You could tell when things were heating up or deer were moving based on how many pics were getting posted per day. It was always cool to see pics...
I beat the hell out of this decision last year for the same intended purposes. I wanted a 20 for early pheasant and grouse and ended up with a Benelli ultra-light which wasn't even on my radar when I started looking. The ultra-light carries like a feather and has an extra round .A used Browning...
I ordered one of these in 0 degree thinking it might be a bit warmer and definitely more durable than my 15 degree marmot for truck camping. After receiving, I've got some doubts.
Anyone using one of these that can attest for their warmth rating??
Those Rab jackets are always ranked high in reviews and highly spoken of. Backcountry returns are easy enough that'd it be worth trying even for comparison if nothing else.
I was changing sights every few months due to stuff breaking or bending until I found spot hogg. I've been using the same hogg it for at least 10 years I bet. It's literally fallen 20 ft outta trees, crawled on, dropped.... everything. Never an issue with the sight. I'm certain it's bomb proof.
I've been shooting Holosuns for maybe 2 years now and I'm shooting better than I ever have......by a lot. I admittedly was not very fast or accurate with handguns prior to using RDS and there's no way I could go back to irons now.
Even if you get water or debris on the emitter/glass it's pretty...
This has been my experience as well, same for a few guys I know that have been going west for something like 30 years. Some years barely notice anything - others I simply can't catch my breath. Biggest thing that's helped me is to really focus on taking deep breaths and to take a break as soon...
The first year I hunted grizzly country in Wyoming I carried both and then ditched the spray after the first day or two. The wind really made me question whether the bear or myself would be in more danger of spray.
same as you and completely agree. sometimes just bending over to pick something up or twisting funny while working on something reminds me I'm getting old.
I've found that my knees are really a weak spot but If I take glucosamine they feel considerably better.
I'd throw some of the Kingsford match light on for charcoal. That stuff seems to burn crazy hot. I used a ziplock bag full this past weekend and was able to get wet firewood going easily.
