IMO, it's more about which tag or hunt you get than which state. There are fantastic cow hunting opportunities in all states but not all cow hunts are great. For example, there are many 1-3 point cow hunts in co that are almost 100% success rate and great experience. But there are also many...
How did you get the head off? Mine doesn't twist off from the center column. Did you have to use a screwdriver on the screw inside the center column? We might have different generations of the summit tripod, mine has different leg locks.
This is a catch and release. I bought this from another member but I didn't realize my vortex summit tripod doesn't have a detachable head. Just not in the cards for me to upgrade my tripod anytime soon so I figure I'd sell it to someone that can use it.
Up for sale is my like new...
Heard several hundred bugles in western Colorado this past weekend for muzzleloader opener, they were fired up! The muzzy guys put a hurting on the bulls from what I saw.

Probably too late to get any llamas lined up for this year. We have used llamas numerous years in Colorado and always had to reserve them more than a year in advance, even before we applied or drew tags. Other than that, a trained llamas can pack 50-80 lbs depending on terrain and distance...
I have a brand new unopened 5/8x24 cb. Im still waiting on my ultra 7. Anyhow, if you find a 5/8 flash hider I'd be happy to trade my cb for it, if you'd rather have a cb. I wanted the flash hider but the shop I bought from didn't have any instock so I got the cb instead. No pressure, just...
Woot woot! Scored 200 rounds of Winchester shotshells today for $23.74 per 100. Just happened to hit walmart at the right time. That's just under $0.24/shell. Heading to the clays course this coming weekend!
I assume it varies depending on where you live. Here the 9mm is virtually not available anywhere locally, so its online only. With shipping I've been getting 9mm it for about $0.5/round. Shotgun shells have been available somewhat frequently at sportsmans, walmart, cabelas and Murdoch's for...
Yeah, I've been dropping by walmart, cabelas, sportsmans and Murdoch's every couple days but no luck the last month or so. I did get my last supply from walmart but that was a while ago and they haven't had any more in stock that I can tell. It's tough out here.
Trade my 100 rounds of 9mm ammo for your 12 gauge shells so I can shoot some sporting clays. I'm in Grand Junction and I'd prefer local to avoid shipping expenses. I'm thinking 100 rounds of 9mm for 200 shot shells.
