    Texas Public Land

Texas is routinely mentioned as one of the states with the least public land, but it can be found or you can go up to OK for some more access if your on the north side of the state. That’s what my in-laws in Wichita Falls do.

    PA "Backcountry" hunting?

I’ve backpack hunted for whitetail in VA, TN, and GA. It is low odds, but rewarding. But beware the camping rules as someone mentioned already.

    Any Mouflan Experts out there

Anyone out there have experience judging Mouflan Sheep in the field? Never hunted them until last year, but hooked on finding a true trophy. Seems like the standard is full curl=trophy, but any other tips?

Want to go caribou hunting someday before I die!

Spent $4700 on a DIY fly-in moose hunt in 2017. The moose didn’t cooperate but we were covered up in caribou in a draw only area for caribou. Used the satellite phone to call game warden from the field and they confirmed we could harvest a bou with our moose tag. Bou on the last day was the...

    What is this guy shooting?

Dumb enough to put it on you tube while acting like an idiot, he deserves the full aftermath of getting caught. that wasn’t a simple mistake, it was careless action.

Any one have wind drift data on fixed vs mechanical

Agree with you on the vented blade noise. just wish I had the time to test all this out. I love the ability to tinker with this stuff looking for perfection. I’ve got a technical background so I’m always wanting data over opinion, but in archery, especially BHs, it seems we are short on data...

    Arrow build advice

Man, you guys must all be giants with these 31”+ DLs! I”m just jealous, your arrow build seems fine, not a lot of spine options for you guys with mega DLs.

Any one have wind drift data on fixed vs mechanical

That’s what I was looking for! 18” vs 2”, is significant. With drift being a function of time, that would be significant even at 40yds. A shuttle T doesn’t really have a lot of blade surface either. I may have to order a couple SEVR as well and do some testing. I wonder if a vented blade...
