We have had one for a year and a half now. We have taken a few trips in it and we love it. Great vehicle so far.

    Trespassing? Worth shooting a snowboarder?

Agreed. I didn’t live around there anymore when it happened, but still have family in the area. That is the crazy thing. Everyone in that area should know if you buy a piece of property in the Meramec and it had a gravel bar, expect people to be on it all summer. Not saying what is right or...

    CO OTC- going away?

Possibly. Don’t matter to me either way as I don’t archery hunt. Just giving my perspective on a unit I was familiar with. Was talking to some archery hunters last year and just thought it was funny that they went draw and had several hundred tags leftover. But I can see them just trying to get...

    CO OTC- going away?

The unit we muzzleloader hunt went draw for archery last year. Funny thing is there were hundreds of leftover tags and you could get one in the secondary draw no problem. Not sure what the point was other than to say it was draw now and not OTC.

    Subaru Starlink

We have it for my wife’s Ascent. Like above we bought new and we paid for 3 years worth for like $150 total. Remote start was what we use the most. Use Apple car play for nav. I also like being able to lock and unlock doors with my phone. That has come in handy a few times

So what cell phone did you finally buy your teenage daughter?

Used iPhone from Facebook Marketplace and then set the screen time on it. You can lock down adding apps and all that stuff. Set times when she can only access certain things. This is what we have done with all of ours.

Charleston, SC—things to do & see?

We ate at a restaurant last year there on the water but can’t remember the name. Was a pretty cool place. Two stories and the charter boats parked right there behind it. You could watch them clean the fish. It was pretty cool and fun

Heck with everyone else, I am with Marble. Take his suggestion and set up a camera so we can all see it.

    Woodpecker control

I would advise caution as I believe Peckers are covered under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Could be wrong, but if I am right, probably wouldn’t blast this all over the interwebs how you plan to whack that pecker

Newberg says a $40 elk tag (or whatever it cost) is a $25,000 elk tag for residents.

Part of the problem are people who think it is their business what someone else apply for or spend their own money on. Mind your own business. Apply for every state out west if you want and stop worrying about what other people choose to do in a free country. Or how they choose to do it.

    Trespassing? Worth shooting a snowboarder?

Happened back where I grew up on the river. Lots of drunks floating of course and stopped on a gravel bar. Guy came down and tried to run them off, argument started and one of them got shot. Pretty sure he went to prison.
